Our Purpose

Line in the Sand (LITS) empowers local communities to become agents of change by enabling projects that conserve and regenerate local ecosystems, providing hope for WA’s future generations that our natural assets will be valued.

LITS works with local action groups, who have a shared vision but require financial and strategic partnerships, to design and implement environmental programs in the Cape to Cape region. Through the rehabilitation and conservation of our environment we aim to inspire both the local community and visitors to value, respect and care for our region.

Our initial focus is on the rehabilitation and conservation of coastal areas between Augusta and Busselton, with the ambition to expand our model to other WA coastal regions over time.
