Julian Kruger | Deputy Chairperson

Julian is an ecologist and the CEO of Ecocene, a specialist biodiversity company providing organisations, governments and communities with the knowledge, software and advice to achieve nature positive. He has over 25 years’ experience working with nature and is a leader in the use of technology and markets to accelerate biodiversity protection and restoration.

John ‘Fish’ Taylor

John ‘Fish’ Taylor is a retired conservation architect, and now works on private and public land conservation-rehabilitation, assisting the community in a number of roles. Fish is equally at home on land and sea, and is an Australian history and geography fan. He also enjoys providing local knowledge and historic narrative on guided walks in the south-west of WA.

Mark Ceglinski | Secretary

Mark is a Chartered Accountant, Financial Advisor and former investment banker. He has been a partner in several international accounting firms, director of one of Australia’s oldest stockbroking firms and various public and private companies. Mark is a long time regular visitor to the MR region and works with many local businesses.

Laura Clarke

Laura Clarke is co-founder of Palau Pledge – the world’s first passport stamp for the protection of environment and culture, implemented by the Pacific Island Nation of Palau. Prior to her work in conservation, Laura was a global communications director, creating campaigns for some of the world’s largest brands. She is currently Co-Executive Producer and Head of Impact for Deep Rising: a new, environmental documentary, Executive Produced by Jason Momoa, which addresses the urgent threat of deep seabed mining.
